PBS FRONTLINE Documentary “South Korea’s Adoption Reckoning” Airs September 20th, 2024!

It is FINALLY OFFICIAL! The PBS FRONTLINE documentary "South Korea's Adoption Reckoning" airs on September 20th, 2024! The Frontline producer confirmed this with us this morning. Check your local stations for times. The documentary should be available on FRONTLINE’s YouTube page for FREE global viewing.
This documentary began filming in July 2023 at Korpus Studio of Art in Seattle, Washington. The documentary evolved partially from Paperslip’s nearly four years of talking with a journalist about falsification in adoption cases about which we know.
For this documentary, FRONTLINE paired with Associated Press (AP) for its reporting.
Many of those featured in the documentary are Korean Adoptees to whom Paperslip referred the filmmakers. We departed Seattle for Korea for 2023’s IKAA Conference, where they filmed parts of the gathering. We hope that FRONTLINE does this important issue justice.
