Photos of the Old KSS Campus.
In 2016, KSS tore down the campus which it operated in Seoul from 1964 - 2012.
The one remaining KSS building is it’s Post Adoption Services building, where all of KSS Adoptees’ files are stored, and where KSS Adoptees can meet with a social worker for an in-person file review.
Below are photos from the KSS campus before the majority of it was torn down in 2016. KSS closed its International Adoption business in 2012. Thank you to KSS Adoptees for providing these photos!

KSS closed its International Adoption business in 2012. These photos were taken by a KSS Adoptee in 2013, one year after its closure. We believe that KSS closed due to the significant decline of Korean international adoption in the wake of the negative publicity which Korea received for being a “baby sending country” during the 1988 Olympic Games. Additionally, Korea introduced / revised the Special Adoption Law in 2012 which we believe also precipitated KSS’ closure in the same year.
