Birth Family Search Requests Will Have To Be Submitted Through The KAS (Korea Adoption Services) Website After July 19th, 2025.

New requests will not be accepted until September 16th, 2025.

After ALL Korean Adoption Agency files start to move to the Korean Government Agency NCRC (National Center for the Rights of the Child) on July 19th, 2025, Korean Adoptees will have to submit birth family search requests through the
KAS (Korea Adoption Services) website:

https://www.kadoption.or.kr/en/

Please Note: NCRC / KAS will NOT accept new birth family search requests until September 16th, 2025.

Please DO NOT ASSUME the file transfer will be sorted out by September 16th, 2025!

The head of NCRC has admitted privately that the file transfer could take 10 years to sort out.
